Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Stock Unloader Associate for Fort McMurray, AB. You will unload trailers, move pallets to the sales floor, and help reset the Receiving Area while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

  • Overstock Organization – Label and place overstock merchandise in designated areas.
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment – Follow policies to keep a safe, clean workplace and complete safety logs.
  • Flexibility – Be open to evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Position Summary

Working as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada is an excellent opportunity to build hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced retail environment. In this role, you play a key part in keeping the store running smoothly by unloading trailers, processing merchandise, and moving pallets to the sales floor, all while maintaining a safe and clean workspace. What You’ll Do
  • Receiving and Unloading Merchandise – Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
  • Handle and Move Merchandise Safely – Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
  • Stocking and Customer Support – Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
  • Overstock Organization – Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment – Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
  • Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) – Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

  • Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.80.
