: 073 Corrections Policing and Public SafetySalary Range : $28.085-$35.195HourlyGrade : SGEU.07.The Ministry of Corrections, Policing & Public Safety, Saskatoon Correctional Centre, is seeking a stock clerk who is well-organized, highly motivated, energetic and proactive to provide procurement, stock keeping, and inventory management in a challenging and expanding work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customer service to staff in filling stock orders, shipping, receiving and managing inventory through the use of QuickBooks software in addition to miscellaneous warehouse duties.The successful candidate must be capable of lifting and carrying heavy articles, typically 8 kgs to 20 kgs, repeatedly, on a daily basis. This position also requires standing for long periods of time, repetitive motion and some exposure to noise and dust. The use of pushcarts, pallet jacks and / or forklifts are also required to perform the duties of this position.As the Stock Clerk, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to provide information and respond to inquiries from clients. You will have knowledge of procurement guidelines and inventory management and the ability to create and work with a variety of documents and using e-mail. Knowledge of and experience with computer systems is also required.The knowledge and skills required in this position would typically be obtained through a diploma in supply change management or several years experience in an office or warehouse environment.We are committed to workplace diversity.Hours of Work : C - SGEU Regulated 37.33 - one day off every three weeks
