Job summary

Re-Stock is hiring for full-time Steam Truck Operators in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The role involves thawing pipelines/valves, steam cleaning of plant structures, and cleaning of mobile equipment. You will participate in safety initiatives, perform inspections, and handle billing/time cards.

Shift rotates 7/7. Required are a valid driver’s license (air brake preferred), a clean 3-year driving abstract, and strong English reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Class 5 license required; air brake endorsement preferred, Class 3 a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of steam truck experience or equivalent equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Thaw pipelines and valves with steam.
• Perform steam cleaning of plant structures and equipment.
• Clean and prepare mobile equipment (trucks, mining gear, cranes, etc.).
• Complete pre/post inspections on vehicles and equipment; assist with billing and time cards.

Job Summary:

As a Steam Truck Operator with Re-Stock, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Pipeline and valve thawing
• Steam cleaning: plant structures, buildings, process facilities, wellheads, pipelines, tanks, large vessels
• Cleaning of mobile equipment such as: gravel trucks, mining equipment, mobile cranes, light vehicles, haul trucks, shovels

You will actively participate in all safety initiatives, perform pre/post inspections on vehicles, pumps, equipment, tools, etc., and complete billing and time cards.

The shift rotation for this position is 7/7.

Qualifications:

• Class 5 Driver's license with the air brake endorsement; however, aClass 3 Driver’s license would be an asset.
• Clean 3 Year commercial driver’s abstract
• Minimum 3 years of steam truck experience required
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English
• No site bans from any of the oilsands sites within the Region
• CSO (common safety orientation)
