Operating in close collaboration with health system, government and academic partners, OnSPARK securely integrates and curates real-world data from LTC homes to enable high-impact, evidence-informed research.
We are seeking a Statistical Analyst II to play an integral role in preparing, managing, and analyzing multiple complex health data sources and to contribute directly to the production of analytic outputs, reports, and methodological tools that support our partners across Ontario. The emphasis in this position is on hands‑on data work—data cleaning and preparation, developing data creation plans, preparing analytic datasets for research project teams, conducting statistical analyses, documentation, and contributing to/drafting sections of analytic deliverables. The successful candidate will work closely with researchers and project teams to translate research questions into high-quality, analysis‑ready datasets and reproducible analytic workflows. The successful candidate will have strong quantitative and analytical skills, as well as experience working with complex health and administrative datasets. Knowledge of and experience with secondary data sources and secondary dataset structures, including linked and longitudinal data, will be considered a strong asset. The role requires the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team, engaging with researchers, clinicians, data stewards, and health system partners.
The team operates primarily in a remote environment with a hybrid component. While most work can be completed remotely, in‑person meetings or events are held on campus as needed, without a fixed schedule.
