Job summary

Vantage in Montreal (Pointe-Claire) seeks a Stationary Mechanical Technician to maintain critical data center mechanical and electrical systems, including UPS, PDUs, HVAC, chillers and building controls. You will work with a team to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a 24/7 environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance, ability to read plans and single-line diagrams, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of maintenance and repair experience in industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical plans, single-line diagrams and building layouts.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution devices, HVAC systems, air handlers and building monitoring/automation.
• Experience in creating, coordinating and updating standard operating procedures and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical systems (HVAC, chillers, building controls, UPS, PDUs, generators) and perform repairs.
• Coordinate maintenance with service providers and ensure safety of personnel.
• Produce reliability reports to support capacity targets and uptime.
• Develop work methods and SOPs for maintenance activities.
