Opportunity:

L’opportunité : Stage de 4 mois : janvier à avril (possibilité de prolongation jusqu’en août 2027). L’équipe R&D des composants photoniques à haute vitesse, située à Québec, développe des dispositifs qui constituent une partie importante des systèmes optiques haute performance commercialisés par Ciena. Le stage au sein de l’équipe de validation de produits contribue au développement d’outils d’analyse de données utilisés pour la conception et la validation de composants photoniques à haute vitesse.

The Opportunity: Work term of 4 months starting in January 2027. (Possible extension until August 2027) The high-speed photonics components R&D team is located in Quebec City and develops devices that are an important part of Ciena’s commercialized high-performance optical systems. This internship on the product validation team contributes to the development of data analysis tools used in the design and validation of high-speed photonic components.

Nice to haves:

• Expérience avec des outils de « big data ».
• Capacité à travailler et à communiquer en français.

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.50 to $35.00. Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
