Job summary

A leading event staffing company in Toronto is looking for Stage Hands and AV Technicians for an exciting summer of live events. Ideal candidates will have experience in staging or audio-visual production and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include setting up and taking down equipment for various events, as well as assisting with sound and lighting operations. Part-time, on-call work with opportunities for growth is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in live events, audio-visual production, or staging.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Certifications like Fall Protection or Forklift are an asset.

Job description

We’re looking to bring on more Stage Hands and AV Technicians to our team for a busy summer of live events all across the GTA. If you have previous experience in live events, staging, or audio-visual production, we want to hear from you. We’re also open to those with transferable skills from construction, film, or any relevant industry.

What You’ll Do :

• Set up and tear down staging, lighting, and AV equipment.
• Assist with sound, video, and lighting operations.
• Work on concerts, corporate events, and live productions.

What We’re Looking For :

• Prior experience in live events, AV, or stagehand work preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with sound, lighting, or video systems is an asset.
• Certifications (Fall Protection, Forklift) are an asset but not required.

This is part‑time, on‑call work—you don’t have to take every shift, but if you work well with our team, there are opportunities to grow.
