A leading technology firm in Ottawa seeks an experienced engineer to test and validate firmware, hardware, and software. Responsibilities include verifying firmware, improving process quality, and performing statistical studies. Candidates should have extensive experience in RF component testing and automated solutions, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The individual chosen for this position will be a member of an engineering team responsible for testing and validating firmware, hardware and software in a Laboratory. This individual will be executing RF test plans to prove system performance. The engineer will process data and prepare reports. She/He will troubleshoot and run setup validation tests to guarantee accuracy and repeatability. The successful candidate will be an effective problem solver and a proactive process owner.
The typical base pay range for this role is currently CAD$101,700 -$173,800. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, and the ultimate job duties and requirements. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock. These incentives and awards are based on individual and/or company performance.
