Google is seeking software engineers to contribute to Gmail and Google Cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on backend systems, scalability, and reliability. Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience building highly available, low-latency, and scalable distributed systems for real-time communication.

With a focus on backend server development, you will design, implement and roll out changes that will help improve the Gmail platform for its massive customer base. In addition, you’ll be part of the team that monitors and investigates production health and ensures that the system is reliable, safe and secure.
