Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Software Developer for the API Management Platform Team to advance end-to-end API management, including RESTful, GraphQL and Async APIs. You will design scalable, secure software, review code, and mentor engineers while applying GenAI/AI techniques to accelerate product innovation.

You will collaborate across global teams, drive timelines, and optimize performance in production systems, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker and cloud services.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience delivering enterprise class applications.
• 6+ years of experience in building Highly Scalable Distributed Solutions using Java.
• Team player possessing strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Strong hands on experience of developing highly scalable Microservices (Rest and/or GraphQL).
• Experience in designing and developing distributed scalable and highly reliable applications in Cloud.
• Experience with AWS or some other cloud provider.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes & Docker.
• Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).
• A passion for well written code, test-driven development, and engineering best practices.

Overview

Come join the API Management Platform Team as a Staff Software Developer.

API Management Platform team builds end to end API Management Platform for Restful, GraphQL and Async APIs.

Platform provides following key capabilities

• Provides Starter code, GenAI based tooling and SDKs for API Producers to produce world class APIs and API consumers to discover and consume these APIs with ease.


• API Metering and API Access Enforcement to monetize some of these APIs


• 3rd Party Application Developers to discover their API Usage in a self serve manner


• GraphQL Router with federation which serves all key Products of Intuit such as Quickbooks and TurboTax, at scale.

As a Staff Software Developer on this team, you will be working with a team of very talented engineers and Architects to take the platform to the next level.

The Expected Base Pay Range For This Position Is
