General Motors is seeking a Software Architect to define the architecture for a next‑generation virtual development platform, including SIL orchestration, AI‑enhanced simulation, data flows, and cloud‑native compute.
You will advance automation, embedded systems, and debugging while expanding into cloud orchestration, IaC, ML workflows, and distributed simulation systems. The role requires 10+ years of expertise and a strong cloud/background in Kubernetes.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Markham or Oshawa office three times per week, at minimum.
The Role As a Software Architect, you will define the architecture for GM’s next‑generation virtual development platform, including SIL orchestration, AI‑enhanced simulation, data flows, and cloud‑native compute. You’ll build on your strengths in automation, embedded systems, and debugging while expanding into cloud orchestration, IaC, ML workflows, and distributed simulation systems.
The salary range for this role is $137,300 to $203,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
