Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Risk team to lead cross-Risk and cross-Stripe initiatives. You will shape infrastructure and product direction, connecting work across Risk and Stripe teams, while staying hands-on in technical and product decisions.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive risk management solutions at scale and mentor teams toward coherent, reusable infrastructure. You will need strong technical judgment, strategic range, and executional rigor.

Qualifications

• .Identified high-impact product and technical initiatives spanning multiple teams.
• .Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous problems and drive adoption.
• .Strong judgment across data, ML, AI, APIs, platforms, and system architecture.
• .Experience partnering with senior engineering, data science, and product leaders.
• .Balanced focus on foundational infrastructure and user-facing experiences.
• .Quantitative fluency for data-driven tradeoffs and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-leverage, cross-team problems and define measurable outcomes.
• Lead major cross-Risk initiatives from shaping through delivery and iteration.
• Drive data and AI-driven risk identification and mitigation at scale.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and ML leaders on architecture and data foundations.
• Help product teams build on Risk capabilities with reusable infrastructure.
• Align teams, resolve tradeoffs, and progress without formal authority.
