Job summary

Faire is seeking a Brand Engineer to help Brands create and maintain high-quality product listings, enabling retailers to access curated catalogs from around the world. You will partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and marketers to shape the product and roadmap, balancing rapid delivery with maintainable, scalable solutions.

You’ll contribute to multi-stack features, improve listings quality, and empower local retailers and brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React and Next.js
• Experience driving product improvements end to end and making trade-offs
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Love for technology and curiosity for new tools

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and marketing to contribute significantly to business success or engineering platform
• Identify and capitalize on new opportunities, oversee complex multi-phase projects across teams and platforms
• Build features across multiple stacks, potentially including Backend, Frontend, and Mobile
• Optimize web applications for peak performance and scalability with high-quality code
• Mentor fellow engineers on technical and product judgement
