  • Experience in community or retail pharmacy settings; familiarity with Canadian public and private drug plans is an asset.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy; injection training and CPR advantageous.

Role Description

The Staff Pharmacist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Toronto, ON. This role is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients on prescriptions and over-the-counter therapies, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Daily tasks include reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, managing medication inventory, performing clinical assessments such as medication reviews, and supporting vaccination and other health services where applicable. The Staff Pharmacist collaborates closely with pharmacy assistants and other store team members to maintain efficient workflow, deliver excellent customer service, and promote safe and effective medication use. The role also involves participating in quality assurance activities and contributing to health promotion and community outreach initiatives.
