Job summary

Island Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to manage drug distribution, provide drug information, adjust dosages, and counsel patients. The role operates across multiple sites in Vancouver Island and requires BC licensure eligibility.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Site Coordinator, you will contribute to patient safety and work within a multidisciplinary team. The position starts Dec 1, 2026, with a regular full-time schedule and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

Job Description

Reporting to the Pharmacy Site Coordinator or designate, the Staff Pharmacist provides drug distribution, basic drug information, medication dosage adjustments and patient counseling.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

Licensed by, or eligible for Licensing by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
