Fortinet is seeking a Staff Front-End Developer to lead the Angular-based front-end architecture for our cloud portal. You will collaborate with design, backend, and product teams to deliver secure, responsive interfaces with scalable architecture.

The role focuses on mentoring, performance optimization, accessibility, and alignment with security best practices while shaping the frontend roadmap across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of front-end development with Angular.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, RxJS, SCSS, and component-based architecture.
• Experience building responsive, mobile-friendly web apps with modern CSS/layout techniques.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript design patterns and architecture.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs, gRPC, WebSocket, GraphQL.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and debugging skills.
• Security and performance focus for front-end apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead Angular-based front-end architecture and development.
• Contribute to UI standards, design systems, and internal frameworks.
• Collaborate with designers to deliver clean, responsive interfaces.
• Guide API contract design from a front-end perspective.
• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews.
• Drive performance, security, and accessibility improvements.
• Contribute to product strategy and technical direction.
