Job summary

What you’ll be doing :
  • Conduct telephone interventions with clients
  • Provide support and coaching services in at least two of the following areas : parenting support, couple relationships, eldercare support, retirement preparation, grief and loss, stress and burnout, and career guidance
What we’re looking for :
  • Master's degree in psychology, education, counseling, social work or equivalent
  • Three to five years of experience in adult and / or mental health intervention
  • Valid registration with the relevant governing body
  • Expertise in solution-focused brief counseling is an asset
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, crisis management and EFAP is an asset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English and French communication skills
  • Comfortable with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interest in writing resource letters for clients

English language skills are required as this role supports, communicates and / or collaborates with both French and English-clients and / or colleagues nationally.
