Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Sr Technical Consultant / Solution Architect to design, deploy, test and document large-scale Data Center and Hybrid Cloud solutions for enterprise clients.

You will lead architecture efforts leveraging VMware VCF, Nutanix, Microsoft Azure Local HCI, Red Hat OpenShift and Nvidia AI Enterprise, while ensuring security, compliance and successful migrations across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology or Engineering.
• 10–12 years of consulting experience designing cloud solutions in data center environments.
• End-to-end experience on transformation or migration projects.
• Professional certifications in Hybrid Cloud preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Center Architecture design for scalable, secure infrastructure.
• Design and deployment of solutions using VMware VCF, Nutanix NCI/NCM, MS Azure Local HCI, Red Hat OpenShift, Nvidia AI Enterprise.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.

Description and Requirements

Role Summary

Sr Technical Consultant / Solution Architect who has experience in design, deploying, testing and documentation of Data Center and Hybrid Cloud solutions based on VMware/Nutanix/Microsoft/Red Hat, Storage solution based on Lenovo/NetAPP, network devices from Cisco/Nvidia/Arista, and backup solution from Veeam/Commvault. Candidates are expected to work on Lenovo Hybrid AI solutions involving Nvidia AI Enterprise, Nvidia AI factory. Experience in design, deploy and support of large production environments for enterprise customers. Your work will help customers unlock the full potential of Latest Hybrid Cloud and AI technologies by managing deployments that ensure AI adoption and optimization of AI models in real-world use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Center Architecture: Utilize your expertise and creativity to design and develop high-quality, secure, and scalable data center infrastructure solutions including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, power and cooling systems, and physical security measures.
• Design and deployment of solutions based on VMware VCF, Nutanix NCI/NCM, MS Azure Local HCI, Red hat OpenShift, Nvidia AI Enterprise, etc.
• Technical Leadership: As a key figure in our team, you will serve as a supportive and empowering leader, fostering an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued and respected. Your mentorship will enable individuals to thrive and grow both personally and professionally.
• Solution Planning: Collaborate with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and perspectives, identify technical challenges, and create comprehensive cloud solution architectures and strategies that resonate with our diverse customer base.
• Implementation and Deployment: Lead the implementation and deployment of data center data center and hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring that the process is inclusive and accommodating to the needs of all team members.
• Migration Service: Assess the customer existing infra, prepare migration design, schedules, perform migration service, transfer knowledge to the team for volume migrations
• Performance Optimization: Validate and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of deployed data center and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Security and Compliance: Advocate for strong security measures that protect the privacy and data of all users, making sure that our solutions are compliant with diverse global regulations and standards.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Collaborate on creating effective disaster recovery and business continuity plans that prioritize inclusivity and accessibility for all team members.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, utilizing clear and inclusive language, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, ensuring that the diverse perspectives and expertise of all team members are heard and valued during the integration of infrastructure services.
• Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest data center and hybrid cloud technologies and industry trends, and actively seek opportunities to enhance existing processes and technologies to better serve our diverse customer base.
• Understand customers' overall cloud portfolio, IT and business priorities, and success measures to design implementation architectures and scalable cloud solutions leveraging expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions (Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, VMware, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies).

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technology or Engineering
• 10-12 years of consulting experience in designing cloud solutions or services within Data center environment.
• End-End work experience on transformation or migration projects.
• Professional certifications on Hybrid cloud preferred.
