Job summary

Blackpoint Cyber is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Go) to advance our endpoint agent platform and drive Go development across cross‑OS deployments in a fast‑paced remote environment. You will build cloud microservice components in Typescript and Go, apply strong design patterns, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable software.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Go experience, REST API expertise, and a proven track record shipping

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with Go development.
• Familiarity using TypeScript, Go for building and maintaining cloud microservices.
• Experience in building and consuming APIs (REST), with a focus on secure, scalable, fault tolerant services.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar), automating testing, deployment, and scaling of services.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, with the ability to lead sprint planning, break down large initiatives, and align team efforts with business objectives.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proven track record of diagnosing complex issues, devising effective solutions, and implementing innovative approaches to overcome technical challenges.

The Endpoint Agent team is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer who will thrive in a fast‑paced, remote environment. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving Go development of our cybersecurity Endpoint Agent. Our team designs, builds, and maintains our Endpoint Agent which is deployed to customer devices around the globe.
