Position Overview : We are seeking a talented SharePoint Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the SharePoint platform to meet business requirements. The candidate should have a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, SharePoint Online (Office 365), SharePoint Server (on-premises), and related technologies. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, architect solutions, develop code, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Security Clearance Requirement: Due to our contract with the Federal Government, you will need Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) prior to your start date, including fingerprinting, criminal record check, credit check, and residency in Canada for at least 5 years with Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.

Key Responsibilities :

  • SharePoint Knowledge: Understand the architecture, features, and capabilities of SharePoint, including versions like SharePoint Online and on-premises.
  • Understanding of SharePoint Security: Manage permissions and access control within SharePoint security models.
  • SharePoint Designer: Knowledge of SharePoint Designer for specific tasks, despite its decreased usage.
  • Modify Classic Templates: Be able to modify old technology templates as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer or similar role
  • Deep knowledge of SharePoint architecture, including SharePoint Online and Server versions
  • Proficiency with development tools such as SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and Power Platform
  • Strong understanding of workflows, forms, web parts, and SharePoint components
  • Experience integrating SharePoint with other systems and applications
  • Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
