As a member of CIBC’s team, the Senior Project Manager will have the opportunity to lead transformative projects with budgets exceeding $5 million, shaping the future of our technology landscape in the delivery of highly complex projects from end to end, including initiation, requirement gathering, design, construction, testing, implementation and closure. The role works with minimal direction on complex projects, providing expert level knowledge of project management principles, standards, and business consulting through considerable project delivery experience. The Senior Project Manager uses significant latitude to control projects, conduct status reviews, provide business guidance, identify deviations to the project plan, and recommend corrective action to mitigate potential issues. The role analyzes situations and data to prepare and deliver executive level presentations to keep management informed of project status, changes, and milestone achievements.
