Job summary

Roche Holding AG is seeking a Senior Programs & Solutions Manager for Global Procurement in Mississauga. You will lead market-driven and supplier-driven innovations, delivering large-scale programs and strategic sourcing initiatives across a global matrix.

You will diagnose complex problems, influence senior stakeholders, and champion data-led decisions to maximize value. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in procurement, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a track record of innovative cost

• +7 years of procurement experience with category experience in commercial and/or corporate services.
• Experience leading supplier innovation, digital solutions, category transformation, cost-out initiatives, or high-value negotiations.
• Proven track record of co-creating market-first supplier innovations and delivering strategic initiatives.
• Strong presentation and senior-level influencing skills.

The Opportunity

This Programs and Solutions team sits within the Strategy and Solutions Chapter, which encompasses a number of different strategic and innovative teams. Our purpose is to guide strategic priorities, advance value delivery through solutions and digital excellence, govern compliance, and drive sustainability to deliver continuous improvement and strengthen Global Procurement's impact on the wider Roche organization.

As a Sr. Programs & Solutions Manager (Commercial & Corporate Services), you will operate as part of a team that brings market expertise, supplier-driven innovation, and strategic execution capability to the organization. Your primary roles and responsibilities include:

• Drive Market & Supplier-Driven Innovation: Co-create and deliver market and supplier-driven solutions (Digital and/or Service based) to meet customer needs and address strategic business pain-points.
• Deliver Complex Strategic Programs & Projects: Directly lead and execute large-scale strategic programs (such as category transformations, buying channel reconfiguration, cost transformations, complex negotiations, and sourcing strategies) for senior stakeholders in a global matrix environment
• Act as a Subject Matter Advisor: Identify, clarify, and diagnose complex business customer problem statements in collaboration with Commercial & Corporate leaders.
• Deliver Tangible Impact Beyond Standard Metrics: Prioritise efforts to bring identifiable value using data to drive decision-making and specification changes.
• Develop Frameworks and Approaches: Apply, refine, and champion execution approaches for both "beyond-procurement" innovation models and complex strategic programs.
• Advocate and Enable: Advise and influence business stakeholders to align strategic direction, leveraging market insights, storytelling, and data-driven recommendations.
• Foster Collaboration & Community: Build cross-functional networks, cultivating an environment of radical collaboration, psychological safety, and shared best practices.

Who you are

• You hold a bachelor degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• +7 years of experience in procurement, with category experience in commercial (e.g. marketing, media, data & analytics) and / or corporate services (e.g. professional services, consulting) ideally with a few years of management consulting experience.
• Solid background of leading supplier innovation, digital solutions, category transformation, complex cost-out initiatives, or high-value negotiations.
• Proven track record of co-creating market-first supplier innovations and delivering high-stakes strategic initiatives.
• Driven by a challenger mindset, valuing speed-to-impact and scaling proven frameworks over starting from scratch.
• Exceptional presentation and dialogue skills, capable of navigating senior-level discussions, influencing decision-making, and translating complex market opportunities into compelling business cases. You can work from a hypothesis-led mindset combining data (spend, market and X-domain datasets) and insight on business behaviors to influence change ways or working/sourcing models
• Enterprise thinker who "connects the dots" across the Roche network to solve business challenges.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
