This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent collaboration skills, and a passion for automation, innovation, and security-by-design.

Key Deliverables

  • Lead and deliver medium to large-scale initiatives related to network security platforms and associated key security controls.
  • Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity, Network, Platform, and Product teams to embed security best practices into new designs and initiatives.
  • Act as a trust technical advisor to technology and business stakeholders on network security, architecture, risks, and best practices.
  • Optimize network security policies, rulesets, and configurations to improve security posture, performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Automate and streamline network security operations where applicable.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, standards, procedures, and network/security diagrams.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends, to support critical security infrastructure.
  • Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, resiliency, scalability, performance, and compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, incident response readiness, and platform reliability.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in network security engineering roles involving the design, implementation, and support of large-scale enterprise or data center environments.
  • Deep, hands‑on knowledge of network security principles, protocols, architectures, and technologies.
  • Strong experience with industry-leading network security platforms, including:
    • Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
    • Network segmentation and micro‑segmentation (e.g., NSX-T)
