Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services
  • London, Kingston, or Kitchener, ON
  • Full-Time | Hybrid | 10+ Years Experience
What You’ll Do
  • Review and stamp mechanical designs across a variety of project sizes and sectors
  • Lead design strategies and provide high-level direction on complex projects
  • Conduct audits, feasibility studies, and write technical reports
  • Visit sites, troubleshoot construction issues, and collaborate on effective solutions
  • Mentor junior and intermediate engineers / designers
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of mechanical design standards and practices
What You’ll Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering (Building Services focus)
  • P.Eng. license in Ontario and at least 5 years of Canadian experience
  • Experience with central plant systems (hot water, steam, chilled water)
  • Strong knowledge of DDC control systems, including sequences, specs, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with OBC, ASHRAE, CSA, and ASPE standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A collaborative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Project experience in commercial, industrial, education, multi-residential, healthcare, or government sectors
