Arvato is seeking a Senior Manager of AI Strategy & Integration to lead the digital transformation of our logistics network. You will design a multi-year AI roadmap and oversee model selection and integration into SAP-based systems to drive ROI across warehouse management, procurement, and transport.

You will collaborate with VP-level executives and cross-functional teams to scale AI initiatives globally, ensuring measurable impact and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• SAP: Deep functional knowledge of SAP MM, SD, PP, or EWM; data extraction via SAP HANA or OData services.
• Advanced .NET: C# and .NET Core/6+ for scalable integration layers.
• AI/ML: Experience with ML frameworks (ML.NET, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and LLMs.
• Rapid prototyping: Lead Lean AI initiatives from PoC to production in weeks.
• Supply chain: 8+ years in logistics, freight, or manufacturing environments.
• Leadership: Lead cross-functional technical teams and manage seven-figure budgets.

Job Description

The Senior Manager of AI Strategy & Integration will lead the digital transformation of our logistics network. This role is specifically designed to accelerate business growth by deploying high-velocity AI solutions that reduce implementation cycles and enhance client satisfaction through superior service reliability and cost-efficiency.

The Senior Manager of AI Strategy is a high-level technical leader who designs the roadmap for artificial intelligence across the global supply chain. You will lead the selection of AI models, oversee the integration into legacy systems, and ensure that AI initiatives drive measurable ROI in warehouse management, procurement, and transport logistics.

• Accelerated Strategy: Build a multi-year AI roadmap focused on "quick-win" implementations that drive immediate growth and shorter time-to-value for clients.
• Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end AI workflows that ingest SAP ECC/S4HANA data and deliver insights through .NET-based middleware or user interfaces.
• Agile Rollouts: Oversee the rapid deployment of AI-driven features (e.g., automated tracking, predictive delivery) to increase client retention and satisfaction.
• Cost-Efficient Scaling: Optimize cloud resource consumption (Azure/SAP BTP) to ensure AI initiatives remain profitable and sustainable at scale.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with VP-level executives in Logistics, IT, and Finance to align AI goals with business KPIs.
• Data Governance: Establish standards for data cleanliness within SAP to ensure high-quality training sets for machine learning models.

Qualifications

• SAP Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, or EWM) and experience extracting data via SAP HANA or OData services.
• Advanced .NET Development: Expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem (Core/6+) for building scalable integration layers.
• AI/ML Foundations: Proven experience with Machine Learning frameworks (ML.NET, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Rapid Prototyping: Ability to lead Lean AI initiatives that move from Proof of Concept (PoC) to production in weeks rather than months.
• Supply Chain Domain: Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics, freight, or manufacturing environments.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and manage seven-figure budgets.
