On behalf of our Insurance client, Procom is searching for a Sr. IT Support Specialist for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Markham, ON office.

Job Description

The Sr. IT Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of both desktop and cloud-based environments within our clients organization. This role involves providing advanced support for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive deskside and remote support to ensure maximum efficiency of systems and cloud services
  • Deliver advanced troubleshooting for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Monitor and maintain Azure-based infrastructure for performance and compliance
  • Analyze and resolve complex operational problems related to system software and cloud services
  • Document all issues and resolutions in ServiceNow for future reference
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure staff to ensure project efficiency and cooperation
  • Support IT and software asset management programs and participate in audits
Mandatory Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in IT support, including Windows Servers, MS Active Directory, and MS Office 365
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services
  • Expert-level troubleshooting skills in Windows systems and general administration
  • Experience with telephony and VoIP environments
  • Thorough understanding of IP switch network environments
  • Experience with hybrid and managed cloud solutions, especially Azure
  • Excellent communication skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Cisco and AWS certifications
  • Experience with Linux server systems administration
  • Experience in cybersecurity practices and security audits
