Job description

Our valued client is looking for a Sr. Sr. IT Security Officer to support AI security governance .

Tasks include :
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, ongoing information risk assessments and audits, and monitor the network to detect security irregularities
  • Oversee and measure information security practices across technologies and processes, and design robust security solutions.
  • Play a key role inartificial intelligence security governance, ensuring that AI systems are deployed securely, ethically, and in alignment with organizational policies
  • Assess AI-related risks, contribute to the development of AI governance frameworks, and collaborate with stakeholders to embed responsible AI practices into business operations.
  • Improve information security through awareness programs, policies, guidelines, and standards, as well as through the ongoing integration of security within business strategies.
  • Recommend and implement network security measures, and continuously enhance the security infrastructure—including those supporting AI and machine learning environments.
Technical environment
  • Mix of on-prem and mostly cloud infrastructure, primarily Microsoft and Azure
  • SaaS / COTS products
  • Enterprise-grade vendors for firewalls and security tools, reviewed and approved through internal governance
  • Microsoft Copilot in use under strict controls, other AI tools require formal approval
Must have :
  • Eligible for Reliability security clearance
  • Strong understanding of AI and Cyber security
  • College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or a related field AND several years of experience in IT security or a related field
  • Three or more years of experience in Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience with installations and implementation of security solutions across various computing platforms and network infrastructure
  • Experience with the management of both physical and logical information security systems
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment, security audits, TCP / IP, intrusion detection systems, and firewalls
  • Experience with weighing business risks and suggesting appropriate information security measures
  • Experience with writing IT security policies
Nice to have :
  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification or equivalent certification, an asset
  • Bilingualism (English / French) an asset
