Who We Are

Metrolinx's GO Expansion program is delivering more GO service across the network, including the capacity to deliver two-way service every 15 minutes or better on core routes. Work is already underway on new track, station renovations and infrastructure upgrades on parts of the Lakeshore, Stouffville, Kitchener and Barrie lines. The investment will generate thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities across the region. The ONxpress Civil Joint Venture is comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd. This multidisciplinary team leads the delivery of civil and track works, leveraging global expertise to introduce innovative solutions across the GO Transit network.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Partner with operations and project managers to provide project-level financial insights, including cost analysis, variance analysis, and profitability tracking.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning and business growth.
• Conduct cash flow analysis and monitor working capital to optimize company liquidity.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Assist with preparation of management reporting, board presentations, and KPI dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and implement financial best practices.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA considered an asset).
• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, ideally within the construction, real estate, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong business acumen with an ability to connect financial insights to operational performance.

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role is between $85,000.00-110,000.00 annually. Base salaries are determined according to multiple factors including skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into consideration. In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance based bonus program.
