What you will do:

  • Maintain compliance with Corporate Structural Integrity Guidance Documents
  • Ability to perform analysis and design as per Canadian and American Codes & Standards
  • Ensure new structural designs and installations meet codes & standards, Nutrien Specifications, applicable laws and regulations
  • Responsible for maintenance of the Asset Integrity Management system documentation and Asset database
  • Plan, Schedule or conduct asset inspections, review and report findings
  • Design engineered repairs in a brownfield environment
  • Provide field support to Maintenance, Operations and Capital Projects
  • Provide oversight and support Capital Projects as Nutrien stakeholder and civil/structural SPOC
  • Write technical scope of works and create work packages

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering, preferably at a potash site or in an industrial setting
  • Strong safety commitment and safety leadership
  • Ability to effectively communicate, written and oral, with a variety of stakeholders- internal and external
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, Computer Aided Structural Analysis & Design software’s such as Staad Pro or SAP2000 (or similar software) is required
  • Experience with 3D Modeling and Design Software’s is considered an asset
