Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a senior cloud architect to help build our next generation AI-native cloud platform. You’ll lead definition and implementation of large-scale components, driving low-latency, highly scalable services and collaborating with desktop agent and AI teams.

Based in Canada (Toronto area preferred), this hybrid role requires 10+ years in high-volume cloud systems, deep Go/Java skills, and a proven ability to mentor engineers, make tech decisions, and move fast in ambiguity.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience building and operating high-volume, highly resilient Tier-1 cloud services and systems.
• Strong knowledge of Go, Java, or similar technologies.
• Ability to move fast and deal with ambiguity while leading collaboration across teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in writing and verbally.
• Experience driving technical decisions across groups and stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ownership in what you build.
• Passion for developing teams through code reviews, design reviews and mentorship.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

About The Role:

We’re building the next generation technologies which will power CrowdStrike for the next ten years. You’ll join a fast-moving team taking a blank-slate approach to scaling our systems and using AI to stop breaches.

Note: This is a hybrid role based out of our offices in Redmond, WA, Sunnyvale, CA, Austin, TX, NYC, or Toronto with an expectation of being in the office at least 2 days per week.

Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $160,000 - $250,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.

The base salary range for this position in Canada is $175,000 - $250,000 CAD per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
