Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Drawing Control Specialist to provide support for drawing management in Liquid Pipelines. You will navigate the drawing management system, manage access, and deliver training to internal and external users, ensuring safety information is readily accessible.

The role involves coordinating major projects, guiding workspace creation, and fulfilling drawing requests via BIM-JIRA and Service tools, with collaboration from Engineering Drawings and Project Gate Review teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in document or records management in engineering or construction.
• University degree or technical diploma in a related field.
• Post-secondary training in business analysis, records management, data analysis or project management.
• Ability to translate safety information requirements into systemized processes.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational structures and document management processes.
• Strong customer service focus with organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of drawing management systems.
• Basic knowledge of Meridian, BIM-JIRA, PowerBI and Excel.

Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is to provide drawing control support for internal and external stakeholders, this includes support services navigating and working in the drawing management system, managing access and control, and providing drawing management system training. The role will also ensure that process safety information - in the form of engineering drawings - is complete and easily accessible to all users of Liquid Pipelines (LP) drawings.

Required

Who You Are:

• Completion of an university degree or technical diploma, or relevant combination of technical training and drawing control experience.
• Two to four years of experience working in document or records management, preferably within either the engineering or construction industry
• Completion of education and/or post-secondary training in business analysis, records management, data analysis, or project management is required
• Ability to translate company process safety information requirements into systemized processes
• Advanced knowledge of organizational structures and industry standard document management work processes
• Strong customer service focus and organizational skills with ability to prioritize
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
• Basic functional knowledge of drawing management systems
• Basic knowledge ofMeridian, BIM-JIRA, PowerBI and Excel required

Preferred

• Basic level drafting skills and some drafting experience
• Advanced knowledge of SharePoint online and Bluebeam

Working Conditions

• Full-time office environment with extensive computer use associated with database environment
• Less than 10% travel within North America to operating locations and construction sites, as required
• Support of multiple project and operational priorities requires strong prioritization and organization skills
