About the job

This position is needed to lead and elevate Twilio’s global marketing strategy, turning data into actionable insight that drives growth and customer engagement.

We’re looking for a strategic thinker and data storyteller to shape marketing decisions, inspire teams, and deliver real-world results. You’ll build and lead a team that transforms millions of data points into clear direction for campaigns, and drives revenue growth and retention.

Responsibilities
  • Create a forward looking point of view on the future of marketing and how we’ll drive success.
  • Define and drive global marketing strategies through actionable data and deep customer insight.
  • Build, mentor, and scale the marketing strategy, analytics and data activation teams, fostering a culture of experimentation and measurable impact.
  • Lead annual/quarterly planning, forecasting, and OKR setting to guide execution across all marketing functions.
  • Partner across Marketing, Finance, and the GTM org to align go‑to‑market and growth strategies.
  • Own and drive marketing spend efficiencies, ROI analysis, optimization initiatives, and development of executive‑ready dashboards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years in marketing strategy, data analytics, or related functions, with 5+ years of people leadership.
  • Expertise with analytics and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in SaaS, tech, or high‑growth environments preferred.
  • Certification in marketing analytics or data science is a plus.
  • Passion for innovation, storytelling, and customer‑centric thinking.
Location

This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.

Travel

Travel may be required occasionally to participate in project or team in‑person meetings.

Compensation

Based on location, the estimated pay ranges are:

  • Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, or Washington D.C.: $223,300 - $279,200.
  • New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $236,500 - $295,600.
  • San Francisco Bay area, California: $262,700 - $328,400.
  • All roles may be eligible for equity plan and corporate bonus plan. Benefits include health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non‑discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
