What You'll Do:
  • Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
  • Working with business representatives, and development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
  • Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
  • Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
  • Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
  • Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
  • Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Library Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience with logical and physical data modeling.
  • Working knowledge of data management industry best practices such as DAMA DMBOK, CMMI DMM, EDM Council DCAM.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on data governance experience.
  • Proficient with data modeling tools, e.g. Idera ER/Studio or Power Designer.
  • Excellent Relational database design experience and skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
