The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills along with a high school diploma and at least one year of courier experience. Responsibilities include mentoring hourly staff and promoting sales opportunities. The role involves physical tasks, including lifting and maneuvering packages, and offers an inclusive work environment.
Operate company vehicles to efficiently deliver and pick up packages, covering a minimum of 15 routes in a floating capacity without a regularly assigned route. Serve as a mentor and role model for hourly employees, demonstrating strong communication, conflict resolution and leadership. Promote sales and generate incremental revenue whenever possible.
Incumbents do not have regularly assigned routes; they cover open routes when the regular courier is unavailable. DG specialist requirement depends on station size and location, subject to senior management override.
