Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Consultant, IT Audit & Assurance for a remote opportunity supporting one of the Big 4's IT Audit & Assurance practice. You will lead IT audit engagements, assess IT controls, and identify technology risks, working with client stakeholders and guiding junior staff.

The role emphasizes governance, compliance, and risk management, with mentorship responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration across Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in IT audit or related field with focus on GITCs.
• Knowledge of COSO, ITIL, COBIT or other control frameworks.
• Completion or plan to complete CPA or CISA designations.
• Experience auditing internal controls under financial audit regulations and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute IT audit engagements for a portfolio of clients.
• Perform ITGC, SOX, and SOC testing and document findings.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and support governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Mentor junior team members to drive engagement delivery.

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Consultant, IT Audit & Assurance for a remote opportunity supporting one of the Big 4's IT Audit & Assurance practice. The successful candidate will lead and execute IT audit engagements for a portfolio of clients, assessing the effectiveness of IT controls and identifying technology-related risks against established audit frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing ITGC, SOX, and SOC testing, documenting findings and recommendations, conducting stakeholder interviews, and supporting governance, compliance, and risk management initiatives. This individual will work closely with client stakeholders, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners while also providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members to help drive successful engagement delivery.

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years' experience (or 2+ years in a professional services firm) in IT audit, IT internal controls, or other related field with a specific focus on General IT Controls (GITCs)

Knowledge of COSO, ITIL, COBIT or other internal control frameworks

Completed or intention to complete the following professional designations (CPA, CISA)

Experience auditing internal controls under financial audit regulatory requirements (PCAOB, CPAB) Experience auditing application systems (SAP (ECC/S4 Hana), Workday, Netsuite, Peoplesoft), operating systems (UNIX, Windows), database management systems (Oracle, SQL database/Server), cloud (GCP, AWS)
