Qualifications

  • Experience with job evaluation methodologies (Mercer IPE preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian pay equity regulations.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as a subject matter expert on compensation, collaborating and advising HRBPs and business leaders.
  • Lead compensation program design analysis recommendations and process improvements.
  • Conduct and analyze market surveys, build relationships with vendors and present insights.
  • Manage medium to large‑scale projects within Total Rewards including budgeting and system and program implementation.
  • Support bonus program design (sales and non‑sales) ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Coach team members and deliver training and communication on compensation topics.
  • Lead and ensure compliance with Ontario and Quebec Pay Equity and contribute to compensation governance.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of experience in compensation with an in‑depth knowledge of core compensation best practices and design.
  • Advanced Excel skills (modelling, pivots, macros) and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (preferably Workday) and job evaluation methodologies (Mercer IPE preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian pay equity and transparency regulations.
  • Excellent analytical storytelling and consulting skills.
  • CCP designation and bilingualism (English / French) are assets.
