Who we're looking for:

As a Senior Cloud Database and Storage Architect you will be proficient in work with our internal customers to migrate their database environments to the public cloud, architecting complex, scalable, and secure database solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to the public cloud. You will drive the design and delivery of world-class cloud solutions, providing expertise on cloud infrastructure services. This includes taking a lead role in the cloud architecture and engineering practice.

What you'll do:
  • As an experienced technology professional, you will be responsible for:
  • Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure database solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
  • Implementation of Storage Based Solutions including Block, File and Object storage, SAN connectivity, Backup, Disaster and Cyber Recovery
What you bring:
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 3–5 years with at least two public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) across compute, storage, databases, identity, security, networking, and management tools.
  • Database expertise: SQL and NoSQL administration; experience with Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server, Cosmos, DynamoDB.
  • Release Management: 3–5 years coordinating builds through development, QA, UAT, and production.
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and practical implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum Agile methodology and experience working on Scrum teams.
  • Knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancers, and best practices for always‑on IT operations.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing backup, storage, and disaster recovery solutions, including vendor tools (Hitachi, Dell, NetApp, Pure Storage, Cohesity, Rubrik, Commvault).
  • Familiarity with data protection, encryption, and legal requirements for backup and retention.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; strong documentation and technical writing skills.
