Position Description

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto location (250 Yonge St Toronto) and / or Client office (downtown) at a minimum 3-4 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities
  • Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Interact with the Business team and analyze regulatory documents to decipher requirements.
  • Ensure business specifications / requirements documentation is accurately prepared and comprehensive to support sizing / development efforts and as input to various project documentation.
  • Develop and deliver Business Requirements Documents, Mapping Documents, Design Documents, Use Cases and Process Models as required.
  • Participate in the development of detailed project plans, the monitoring of progress against planned objectives and co-operation from users and senior management.
  • Work closely across Risk technology teams during all stages of the system development life cycle and bridge the gap between business and technology sides of the solution.
  • Liaise between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions that meet user needs.
  • Build relationships and communicate effectively with the Global team.
Required qualifications
  • Must have skills
  • 5 years in the Banking domain.
  • Ability to translate BRD into technical specifications (Mappings between source to target systems).
  • SQL knowledge.
  • Good Communication.
  • Team player.
  • Nice To Have:
    • Functional knowledge of Banking- Small business Risk (nice to have)
    • Proficiency in programming / scripting languages like Python (nice to have)
