Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Bid & Proposal Specialist to lead the preparation of competitive bids for Power Conversion Solutions across North America. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, supply chain, and product teams to craft customer-focused bids that balance technical excellence, value, and profitability.

You will analyze requirements, manage risk reviews, and drive high-quality tender submissions that support cleaner energy, storage, and grid modernization projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of tendering, estimating, bid management, or proposal development experience.
• Knowledge of renewable energy, energy storage, power conversion, or related electrical power systems.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English required; authorization to work in the United States or Canada is required.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tendering, estimating, bid management, or proposal development for systems and project-based businesses.
• Knowledge of renewable energy, energy storage, power conversion, or related electrical power systems.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese are an asset. Authorization to work in the United States or Canada is required.
