We are seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer to join ActiVia Networks Canada, Inc., a STRATACACHE company based in Montreal.

You’ll join a small, collaborative team (backend, frontend, QA) where autonomy and teamwork go hand in hand.

What you’ll do

• Develop and enhance our backend platform (Java, Spring, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Elasticsearch)
• Help design and evolve our contract-first APIs
• Improve data validation and system reliability
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Operations
• Take part in code reviews and share best practices

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of backend Java development experience
• Strong command of Spring / Spring Boot and SQL
• Curiosity, precision, and a genuine interest in how your code is used
• Team player who enjoys solving real-world problems
• Bilingual (French/English) — occasional collaboration with Operations
