Job description

Lankin Investments is a leading Canadian real estate investment & asset management firm with property under management of over $2B consisting of 6,400+ multi-family units and 2,500+ units in development. Our ethos is simple yet profound: Driven by our people, we foster financial prosperity and community value through strategic Canadian real estate investments. With more than 15 years of successfully acquiring, managing, and operating multi-residential properties across Canada, we have achieved a celebrated reputation among real estate investors. The success is driven by providing our team members with an environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on personal and professional growth.

Lankin Investments is hiring a Senior Analyst, AI Strategy & Enablement to support the development and execution of AI initiatives that drive value creation across the enterprise. This role sits within the Strategic Operations function and reports directly to the Director, Strategic Operations & Market Intelligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping identify, build, and embed AI capabilities that raise the performance of every department — through use-case discovery, tool evaluation, workflow redesign, rapid prototyping, training, and adoption support. The standard of success is the pace at which AI moves from idea to everyday practice across the business, reflected in outcomes that are visible, measurable, and compounding. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leadership and every department in the business, and a rare opportunity to help shape how a $2B real estate investment firm adopts AI from the ground up. If you are an early-career professional who is genuinely fluent with AI tools, curious about how work actually gets done, and eager to build things rather than simply recommend them, this role was designed with you in mind.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Partner with department leads to identify, document, and prioritize AI and automation use.
  • Build, test, and iterate on AI prototypes and workflows — prompts, agents, custom assistants, automations, and integrations — turning promising ideas into working tools that teams can use.
  • Support the evaluation and selection of AI tools and vendors, including running structured pilots, documenting findings, and preparing practical recommendations.
  • Develop and deliver AI training, enablement sessions, and documentation that raise AI literacy and confidence across all levels of the organization.
  • Track adoption and usage, gather user feedback, and refine tools and workflows so solutions remain practical, trusted, and genuinely used.
  • Maintain the enterprise AI roadmap and initiative tracker, keeping status, owners, timelines, and measured impact current and visible to senior leadership.
  • Support the development of AI governance standards — acceptable use, data handling, privacy, review, and quality control — in coordination with Compliance, Legal, and IT.
  • Prepare clear, well-designed briefing materials, demos, and dashboards that make AI progress and business impact legible to executive stakeholders.
  • Stay current on developments in AI and assess which are genuinely relevant to Lankin’s operations, filtering signal from noise.
Leading Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in consulting or comparable environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional setting.
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and translate what they do for non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience conducting process reviews, identifying inefficiency, and designing practical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and financial literacy; comfortable building structured frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with real estate, private equity, or alternative asset management is a plus.
How We Define Success of the Role
  • Success is measured above all by the pace at which AI moves from idea to everyday practice across the organization — not by the number of tools evaluated, but by the tangible operational and financial impact of capabilities that teams actually adopt. Exploration matters; adoption matters more.
  • Early credibility and momentum. In the near term, success looks like building trust quickly with department leads, developing a clear picture of where AI can create the most value, and shipping early wins that demonstrate both competence and momentum.
  • In the medium term, success is defined by AI initiatives advancing on schedule, measurable gains in departmental efficiency and output quality, and a growing baseline of AI fluency and operational discipline across the organization.
  • The person who succeeds here experiments quickly without cutting corners, is equally comfortable presenting to senior leadership and sitting beside a front-line colleague to watch how the work actually gets done, and does not wait to be pointed in a direction. They identify where value is being left on the table and pursue it with discipline and focus.
  • You continuously demonstrate our core values through all aspects of your work: entrepreneurial drive, integrity, dedication, collaboration, and inclusivity.
  • You share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains, and attracts talent.
Why Join Lankin Investments?
