Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Senior Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. You will perform end-to-end audits, interview stakeholders, evaluate controls, and support risk management across Canada and the United States.

The role requires 6+ years in internal or related auditing, a degree in finance/engineering/IT or related, and professional designations like CIA/CISA/CFE/PMP. We offer hybrid work, strong benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, internal controls, investigations, compliance, or operational assurance activities.
• Understanding audit methodology, audit procedures, audit sampling techniques, internal controls, risk management, IIA auditing standards, and performance benchmarking.
• Ability to logically reason, think critically, analyze and evaluate data and information, and draw appropriate conclusions.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work in both Canada and the United States.

Who You Are:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Environmental, Health & Safety, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline with experience working either in Internal Audit or Field Operations; Completion or near completion of a professional designation offered by IIA, ISACA, ACFE, PMI, or similar including, but not limited to CIA, CISA, CFE, and/or PMP.
• Six (6) or more years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, internal controls, investigations, compliance, or operational assurance activities.
• Understands audit methodology, audit procedures, audit sampling techniques, internal controls, risk management, IIA auditing standards, and performance benchmarking.
• Ability to logically reason, think critically, analyze and evaluate data and information, and draw appropriate conclusions.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work in both Canada and the United States.
• Preferred: Previous experience in operational management systems as well as auditing management systems.
• Knowledge of Canadian/US pipeline /asset regulations and auditing standards.

Working Conditions:

Typical office environment, with occasional travel within Canada and the United States.
