Job description

Position Title: Metals Vault Operator

Line of Business: European & Derivative Operations

Duration: Until 30th Nov (12 months)

Location: Downtown Toronto - Onsite - 5 days / week (mon-fri)

Hours of Operation: 8 to 4 (overtime may be required)

Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible to facilitate the day to day vault operations and transactions for the Precious Metals Vault in Toronto, Ontario. Working closely with the Sr. Metals Vault Operator, they will deal in the physical and non-physical movements within the vault operations. Further, the incumbent will be responsible for assistance to ad hoc projects determined necessary by the Metals Vault Supervisor.

General Description
  • Operate in the functional areas of receiving, shipping, secure storage / distribution of precious metals, and logistics.
  • Interface with other business units to effectively implement strategies and work towards business objectives.
  • Responsible for completing physical movements and staging of incoming and outgoing product.
  • Work within company policies and operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, and government regulations.
  • Conducting regular audits and maintaining the integrity of controls.
  • Adhere to security, policies and procedures to support the ongoing security standards of the business as well as supporting changes to operating procedures.
  • Comply and assist in all Security related investigations.
  • Provide inventory control management and perform daily vault balancing routines.
  • Adhere to the PM storage vault standard operating procedures including end of day balancing processes and reconciliation.
  • Work with all levels of Management to complete the given directives of the Company.
