One of our clients, a mid‑size company in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, cost analysis, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting within the O&G or manufacturing space and thrives in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP / IFRS.
  • Conduct cost accounting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to support operational decision‑making.
  • Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve cost efficiencies and reporting accuracy.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors and tax professionals.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in financial controls.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • CPA designation (or in the final stages of completion).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP / IFRS) and cost accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or a similar ERP system.
  • Exposure to capital project accounting or inventory costing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
