Reporting to the Software Development Manager, our client is looking for a Database Software Developer for their Toronto office!

Responsibilities

• Working alongside a team of talented product managers, engineers and designers.
• Building new features on database system in support of the company platform.
• Database programming in SQL and web programming such as JavaScript and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experiences developing SQL heavy software products, preferably with at least 1 year using Oracle
• Excellent command of SQL, Web technologies, and fundamental computer science concepts
• Experience with Oracle Application Express and Oracle Forms is a big plus
• Working knowledge in Web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Understands security, performance, and scalability
• Commands a good understanding of REST APIs
• Cares about writing good, efficient, and well-maintained code that strikes a sensible balance between productivity and quality
