About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Therapist to provide virtual speech and language therapy for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate is comfortable working online with children, skilled in communication development, and experienced in tailoring strategies to meet each child?s unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized virtual speech therapy sessions for children with ASD.
  • Develop and implement communication goals and therapy plans in collaboration with caregivers.
  • Use evidence-based strategies to support expressive, receptive, and social communication skills.
  • Engage children in fun, interactive, and structured online activities.
  • Track progress and provide feedback to families after sessions.
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers to support communication growth at home.
Qualifications
  • Master?s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensed and in good standing with a recognized professional college/association (e.g., CASLPO in Ontario).
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in clinical, school, or private settings.
  • Strong knowledge of communication development and AAC strategies (an asset).
  • Comfortable delivering therapy in a virtual/telehealth setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with children and families.
Additional Information
  • This is a part-time, contract position with flexible scheduling.
  • Compensation will be based on experience.
  • Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
