Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Speech Therapist to assess and manage communication and swallowing disorders in adults. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, providing education, and assisting in quality improvement initiatives. Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's in Speech Pathology, full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council, and preferably be a member of a local professional body.

Qualifications

Job Description

You will be responsible for assessing and managing communication and swallowing disorders in adults and works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality care for patients. You will also provide education to patients, caregivers and other healthcare professionals. As a Senior / Speech Therapist, you will contribute to the organisation's implementation of initiatives and programmes that aim to provide quality patient care, delivery clinical education and engage in quality improvement/research activities. In addition, assist in the management of daily operations and resources, and contributes towards staff development (e.g provide training and supervision to junior Speech Therapists and students).

Job Requirement
  • Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent, or
  • MSc in Speech and Language Pathology (No experience candidate-entry level), or
  • MSc / MA in Speech-Language Pathology (U.S.A) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
  • Valid membership with local professional body/association preferred
