Speech Language Pathologist

Part Time and Full Time positions available in Inclusive Education Dept.

Effective Immediately until June 30 2026

The annual salary for this position ranges from $59711 to $109520 based on length of service and qualifications with placement on the range per the collective agreement. Salary will be prorated based on FTE.

Are you passionate about supporting students and making a difference through inclusive education? West Vancouver Schools is looking for a part‑time Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team. This is an in‑person position with flexibility around workdays, making it a great opportunity for professionals seeking work‑life balance or students currently completing their degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.

Duties

Duties include prevention and identification, assessment, direct intervention for students (both high and low incidence), consultation and collaboration with other educators regarding students' needs in the classroom and other school environments, in‑service training, information sharing with families and other service providers, and public education.

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Speech‑Language Pathology
  • A strong understanding of working with students with low‑incidence exceptionalities
  • A collaborative approach to working in team‑based settings
  • Current or pending membership with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC)
  • Enthusiasm to support inclusive education in a dynamic school environment
