Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Registration in good standing with CASLPO.
  • 1+ years of experience, preferred.
  • Professional Liability Insurance.
  • Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Responsibilities

  • Consultation, screening, and evidence-based assessment and treatment of communication disorders.
  • Design a treatment plan using SMART goals, evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Provide client and family centred intervention by building strong rapport with caregivers, with ongoing training and education.
  • Monitor client progress towards goal attainment and have the agility to adjust treatment plans according to changing needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within and across professions.
  • Manage own caseload and maintain complete records of therapy using our electronic charting system, in accordance with CASLPO regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:
