Program Overview

Le programme d'avions commerciaux A220 recherche un Spécialiste Contrôle Non Destructif pour rejoindre notre équipe Ingénierie des Matériaux et Procédés basée à Mirabel (Québec, Canada).

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Non Destructive Testing Specialist to join our Materials & Processes Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).

You will be part of the Engineering team, supporting the ongoing production ramp-up by participating in the definition of inspection strategies.

Votre rôle sera de vous former aux techniques de contrôle non destructif et de supporter l'équipe d'ingénierie dans la définition et l'analyse des inspections, avec l'objectif d'obtenir vos certifications CND.

Your role will be to train in NDT techniques and support the engineering team in defining and analyzing inspections, with the goal of obtaining your non destructive testing certifications.

Your challenges
  • Perform non destructive testing inspections on components under the supervision of experts to develop your practical skills.
  • Analyze inspection results and interpret collected data with support from certified specialists.
  • Participate in developing inspection plans and drafting non destructive testing procedures, under supervision.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to understand non destructive testing requirements.
  • Participate in problem-solving and the analysis of detected defects.
  • Ensure follow-up of inspection activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Learn to calibrate NDT equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements in the NDT field.
Your boarding pass
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials, or Aerospace).
  • 0-2 years of experience in a technical or industrial field.
  • Demonstrated interest in non-destructive testing methods (Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, etc.).
  • Solid analytical skills for data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and rigor in task execution.
  • Good organizational and priority management skills.
  • Intermediate or advanced level in French and English.
